A reputable group of companies with various businesses in Retail, fabrics and uniforms is looking for a Merchandiser for the following responsibilities:
Main Responsibilities:
- Merchandiser/Production Supervisor is responsible for the planning and coordination of all the garment manufacturing activities and ensures that the company production targets are met;
- he/she is also responsible for the administration and operational tasks for the entire production unit.
- Day to day management of workshop staff and tailors.
- Assist in planning, designing and delivering new products.
- Manage quality issues in all aspect of production, workshop operation in line with codes of practice (as per the brand standard).
- Placing orders with Suppliers, Arranging required fabrics and materials.
- Feedback to tailors to optimize the quality and production.
- Oversee production of orders and ensure the accurate and timely completion of it.
- Preparing and review daily production report.
- Evaluate, train, motivate and develop staff to maximize their strengths and improve the efficiency of the production team.
- Communicates at all levels on status and production availability and flag any delays or issues immediately; ensures outbound delivery schedules are met and works towards deadlines.
- Promotes and maintains a harmonious working relationship with all Production staff across the Workshop.
- Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending action.
- 2-4 years’ experience same field
- Good Communication skill.
- Microsoft Office Knowledge.
- Leadership skill with people management.
- Tailoring fashion industry / Uniform background knowledge is a must.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
